Miami slips past Maryland, 26-20

The Miami Hurricanes rallied back late and then hung on for a 26-20 win over the Maryland Terrapins.

The Hurricanes were without quarterback Jacory Harris, meaning freshman Stephen Morris made his first career start.

Morris did toss two costly interceptions, both to Alex Wujciak, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

However, he did throw for nearly 300 yards and his one touchdown pass proved to be the game-winner. (Read More…)

Miami stunned by Virginia, 24-19

The Miami Hurricanes recent woes got even worse in an embarassing 24-19 loss to the Virginia Cavaliers.

The Hurricanes saw star quarterback Jacory Harris get knocked out of the game with a concussion, which is just his latest injury.

The Hurricanes fell behind 14-0 by halftime and actually trailed the Cavaliers 24-0 early in the fourth quarter.

Miami then seemed to wake up and mounted a furious rally, but it was simply too late to climb out of such a big hole. (Read More…)
